sigma-lab-postgres ("the application") is a personal backup utility operated by a single individual for their own use. This policy describes what the application does with data it accesses through Google APIs.
When you authorize the application, it receives an OAuth 2.0 access token and refresh token for your Google account, limited to the Google Drive scopes shown on the consent screen. Using that token, the application:
The application does not read, download, index, or modify files outside the folder it writes backups into. It does not access Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, or any other Google service.
Data accessed through Google APIs is used only to perform the backup and retention operations described above. It is not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, machine learning, or any purpose unrelated to the backup function.
The application does not transfer data accessed through Google APIs to any third party. There are no analytics providers, no external logging services, and no other recipients. Data is not sold under any circumstances.
OAuth tokens are stored as encrypted credentials on hardware controlled solely by the operator, and are never transmitted anywhere except to Google's own API endpoints. Backup archives remain in your Google Drive under your control; the application deletes archives it created once they exceed the configured retention window.
You can revoke the application's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access immediately and permanently ends the application's ability to read or write anything in your Drive. Any tokens still held by the application become invalid.
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
